Dismissing one reminder no longer removes the other reminders for the same event, so a 1-day-before notice and a 15-minutes-before notice can be handled separately. The snooze interval you choose in Settings is now honoured when you snooze from a notification, not just from the alarm itself. Alarms for events deleted while the app was in the background are cancelled as soon as you return to the app, and the widget refreshes on a steadier schedule.
Snooze works again — it was silently failing because of a malformed event identifier, which also meant events starting at 00:00 never received an alarm at all. Both are fixed. Deselecting a calendar now resyncs your alarms immediately instead of leaving them ringing until the next background refresh. Alarms are also re-evaluated correctly when only the lead time changes, so a stale alarm can no longer stay armed after the event it belonged to is gone.
New "Follow each event's alerts" mode: for any calendar, CalSyncAlert can now use the alert times you set on each event in your Calendar app — so dentist appointments can alert a day ahead while daily standups alert 15 minutes before, all straight from your Calendar. Any alert time works: even values that aren't a preset (like "10 minutes before") are honored exactly. The redesigned settings sheet stays open while you toggle multiple alert times. Set multiple alarms for the same event (e.g. 1 day before + 15 minutes before). Each alarm fires independently. "Upcoming Alarms" list redesigned: alarms are now grouped by the day they fire, with the alarm time shown prominently alongside the event time. Skip is now per-alarm: silence one alarm while keeping the others. Widget redesigned to prominently show the next alarm time with a Today/Tomorrow tag and countdown. Per-event alert timing now includes "1 day before" and "2 days before", so you can be reminded a day or two ahead — perfect for appointments, deadlines, and birthdays. In Settings, each calendar row now has a clear bordered card, and the per-calendar timing button is larger and easier to tap — so you won't accidentally deselect a calendar when changing its alert timing. A bell button now appears on every row in the event list. Tap it to skip (or restore) the alarm for that single event. Skipped events are reflected in the widget and are not registered with AlarmKit. Fixed an issue where events starting sooner than the lead time were shown in the list but the alarm never fired. Updated the "Sync hint" path to match iOS 18: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts → Fetch New Data. Fixed the onboarding screen in landscape where the page indicator overlapped the description text. Internal refactoring and expanded test coverage.
A new "Default Alert Timing" setting (Settings → Notifications) lets you pick from "At event time" / 5 / 15 / 30 minutes / 1 / 2 hours before. Per-calendar overrides: tap the time next to a selected calendar to set a different timing for that calendar only — great for separating work vs personal events. Widgets now show both the event start time and the alarm fire time side by side, with the date and "Today / Tomorrow" tag inline. Alert timing changes now apply immediately — alarms and widgets refresh without relaunching the app. Improved internal architecture and expanded test coverage.

The midnight alarm could come back when an alarm was left behind by the system with no record of it in the app. Cancelling now enumerates every alarm registered on the device rather than only the ones CalSyncAlert remembers, so orphaned alarms are removed as well. Alarm scheduling has been reorganised behind a single sync service, and the release adds a large batch of internal logging and test coverage around it.

Fixed alarms firing at 00:00 for events scheduled later in the day. In some cases the calendar returned a corrupted start time during sync; CalSyncAlert now re-reads the event and reschedules it at the correct time instead of trusting a midnight timestamp. Stale alarms are cancelled before a new one is scheduled, so leftovers cannot ring on their own. This release also brings iPad support, a redesigned purchase screen with a monthly plan, and a 14-day trial.

Deleting, moving or renaming an event now updates its alarm right away. CalSyncAlert watches for calendar changes and compares the scheduled alarm against your next event, resyncing whenever the two disagree — so a cancelled meeting no longer rings. All-day events are also filtered out when alarms are rebuilt after returning to the app, and background refresh keeps the widget consistent with what is actually scheduled.

All-day events are no longer treated as midnight events, so they will not wake you at 00:00 anymore. The alarm chain is fixed too: after you stop an alarm, the next one is scheduled automatically instead of waiting for you to open the app, and Background App Refresh now keeps the widget and the upcoming alarm in sync on its own. Stopping an alarm from the Lock Screen no longer asks you to unlock the device first. Thank you for reporting these — they were the right things to fix first.
